Priorities

We continue to emphasize the importance of high-quality public education, strong environmental protection, access to affordable health care, housing and childcare, a comprehensive transportation system that recognizes the importance of transit options, and a fair and progressive tax system.

Margaret also supports the following:

	A woman's ability to obtain safe, confidential health care services
	A child based health standard for potentially harmful chemicals
	The Fair Prescription Drug Act
	The rights of all Minnesotans including the GLBT community
	Sustainable and organic foods program
	Strong and healthy public schools
	Transit investments including the Northstar Commuter Rail Line, central corridor
